Both Ferrari and the tire manufacturer face charges of manslaughter, although the case is eventually dismissed.

The majority of the film’s scenes were captured in Brescia, Italy, the very location of the real Mille Miglia race.

As the entertainment industry grapples with the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, Mann proudly presents his film as an independent work, free from major studio associations. In an insightful cover story with Variety, the director emphasizes that the film’s origins and its unique screenplay don’t conform to the mold of traditional studio productions.
