Sabrina Carpenter Delves into Touring with Taylor Swift on Eras Tour and Embracing K-Pop’s Enjoyable Appeal
Sabrina Carpenter’s year has been marked by thrilling experiences. Fresh off her successful Emails I Can’t Send Tour, she has now embarked on a new adventure as the opening act for Taylor Swift on the Latin America leg of the Eras tour. Alongside this, she has unveiled her second fragrance, Caramel Dream. To commemorate this milestone, she engaged in a candid conversation with Rania Aniftos from Billboard during the behind-the-scenes moments of her fragrance’s promotional photoshoot.
Reflecting on her initial reaction upon learning about the opportunity to tour with Swift, Carpenter disclosed, “Swift has been a significant inspiration in my life since I was a young girl. Being able to witness her performance every night is an incredibly special experience.”
She went on to share, “Growing up, her songs and advice have been like a guidebook for navigating life as a young woman. Observing her is a profound learning process in itself. Her work ethic and talent are truly admirable, making her an incredible individual.”
Carpenter also delved into her newfound fondness for K-pop, which emerged after she released her remix of FIFTY FIFTY’s track “Cupid” last week. She conveyed, “Amidst life’s complexities, it’s refreshing to find joy. Life carries various shades, often laden with weight and confusion. The enjoyment I derive from listening to K-pop is truly invaluable to me. Moreover, the level of talent they possess is simply astonishing; they rank among the most gifted individuals I’ve encountered.”
