Rumors Suggest Galaxy S24 Ultra Will Introduce Abundant Storage Options
The upcoming launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra hints at a potential doubling of its maximum storage capacity in comparison to its predecessor. However, information about a corresponding memory increase for the higher-tier models is yet to surface.
The Galaxy S24 presents a combination of enhancements and unchanged features. While certain aspects such as battery capacity and charging speed are expected to remain consistent, upgrades are anticipated in areas like display specifications, telephoto camera capabilities, and screen size. Notably, additional storage can be incorporated into the latter aspect, provided the accuracy of fresh details from a trustworthy source.
According to @Tech_Reve, the Galaxy S24 Ultra may be customizable with an internal storage option of up to 2 TB, effectively aligning it with its primary rival, the iPhone 15 Pro Max/iPhone 15 Ultra. However, no information has emerged regarding an expansion of memory capacity in this particular variant. It would be a welcome move if Samsung were to draw inspiration from the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra and pair the higher-tier Galaxy S24 Ultra models with 16 GB of RAM.
A prior listing on Geekbench affirmed that the Galaxy S24+ would continue to feature 8 GB of memory, at least for its base model. While it’s likely that the base Galaxy S24 will follow suit, it would be ideal for the Galaxy S24 Ultra to elevate this to 12 GB. This remains half the capacity of certain Chinese-manufactured smartphones like the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, Redmi K60 Ultra, and Realme GT5.
